Ward Andrews hold enhanced acreditation with the National Association of Child Contact Centres.


We try to offer a homely environment for children to have a good experience of time spent with their parent(s) We have four rooms suitable for contact and a kitchen and garden. We are close to local bus routes. All our rooms have toys and resources for all age ranges.

We are normally open Monday - Wednesday and Friday 10AM - 5.30PM and 10 AM - 4PM on Saturday and Sunday . 

 Our office hours to  9.30 - 3pm and  we are closed on Thursday.  We cannot respond to queries at the weeked as we are busy with contacts.

Ward Andrews provide a Facilitated Contact Service. This can include preparation work with children or parents, wishes and feelings work and parenting advice and support. We have a contract with CAFCASS to provide the Improving Child and Family Arrangements programme. 


Supervised Contact where a supervisor is always present and report of the contact is provided.

Supported Contact where a handover is supported and support can be provided if required but no report of contact is provided.

We offer a high standard of recording and analysis that is suitable for use within the court arena.

Please note except in rare circumstances both parents are not both present in the session.


A Handover service is offered on a case by case basis to existing families. 

Referral Process


Ward Andrews require a referral fee, which is non refundable, of £165. This is payable at the time of referral


A referral form can be emailed upon request. Once the form is received, a planning meeting will take place with each parent. The child will be invited to view the centre and meet the staff. At this point a schedule of contact will be prepared taking into account the child's needs.

We now take card payments and also accept a bank transfer which needs to be made prior to the contact or cash on the day.

Cancellations - any appointment cancelled within 5 days will incur a 50% charge. Cancellations within 48 hours incurs a 100% charge. The commissioner of the service is responsible for the charge irrespective of the reason for cancellation.
